Reinstalling the BlockSite extension - Microsoft Edge browser

In this article, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to remove and reinstall the BlockSite extension on Microsoft Edge. Important: Before proceeding, please make sure to export your blocklist to avoid losing your current settings.

1. Open Microsoft Edge on your computer

2. In the top right of your toolbar, click on the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) and select “Manage extensions”

3. Find the BlockSite extension in the list

4. Click the "Remove" button under the extension and click "Remove" again to confirm

5. Open a new tab and go to the Edge Add-ons store (or click link to go directly to the BlockSite page)

6. Click the "Get" button to download the extension

7. When the confirmation dialog appears, click "Add extension"

8. Wait for the installation to complete automatically

9. Once installed, verify that the extension icon appears in your browser toolbar (inside of the "puzzle" button)
