Password Protection is not asking for a password (iOS)
n this article, you will find troubleshooting steps for when the Password Protection feature is enabled but the app still opens without asking for a code.
There are usually two main reasons for this issue: either the email has not been verified, or the app is running in the background.
Step 1: Verify your email address
To fully activate Password Protection, you must verify your email address. Until this is done, the feature remains inactive to prevent you from getting locked out.
Open the BlockSite app and go to the Password Protection settings.
Look for the "Resend verification email" button and tap it.
Check your email inbox (and your Spam/Junk folder, just in case).
Click the link in the email to confirm.
Once the email is verified, the feature will be fully activated and start functioning.
Step 2: Close the app completely
If your email is verified but the app still doesn't ask for a password, it is likely running in the background. The lock triggers only when the app is opened fresh.
Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-click the Home button) to view recent apps.
Swipe the BlockSite app up and off the screen to close it completely ("kill" the app).
The next time you open the app, it will require your password.
